Personal Care Assistant

About This Role

Provide essential personal care to residents in an assisted living setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Build meaningful relationships with residents and contribute to a supportive care environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff
• Feed, bathe, dress, groom residents
• Change linens
• Move, transfer, or transport residents
• Primarily work with assisted living residents in ALF neighborhoods
• Assist in other areas as needed
• Build long-lasting relationships with residents
• Help provide residents with social and emotional support

Qualifications

• Experience as a caregiver in a CBRF or other healthcare setting preferred

Nice to Have

• Experience as a caregiver in a CBRF or other healthcare setting
• Computer skills
• Certified or willingness to obtain dementia care certification
