Patient Advocate Team Lead (Medical Cannabis)

About This Role

This role supervises daily operations of a medical cannabis dispensary, ensures compliance with state regulations, and provides excellent customer service. The Team Lead will train and manage patient advocate staff, focusing on product knowledge and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform all functions associated with leadership and oversight of a retail medical marijuana dispensary
• Provide excellent customer service to all patients while coaching other team members
• Administer routine inspections to maintain accurate inventory of all cannabis products
• Manage and supervise the activities of patient advocate staff
• Ensure all procedures are updated to provide the best practice for staff and patients
• Train dispensary staff on standard operating procedures and product knowledge
• Manage daily financial reporting requirements and oversee all cash handling procedures
• Develop and maintain a schedule of all patient advocate staff
• Communicate patient incidents or high-risk complaints to the Operations Director or Compliance team
• Oversee patient education and counseling programs, continuously revising information on medical cannabis products

Requirements

• Must be 21 Years of Age
• Must be able to pass a Level 2 Background Check (FBI)
• 1-3 years experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Close attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently with employees, customers, government agencies, and the public

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED
• 1-3 years of experience
