Patient Access Coordinator

About This Role

Perform front desk operations, monitor clinic activities, manage patient data, and provide excellent customer service within a university setting, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily front desk operations including financial transactions to ensure optimal revenue collection
• Schedule patient appointments to ensure smooth patient flow and business operations
• Enter and review data and/or accounts in NSU specific software systems
• Respond to internal (NSU) and external inquiries and resolve complex problems requiring broad understanding of policies and procedures to ensure compliance
• May lead, train and monitor the work of clinical staff to ensure work is performed according to clinic standards

• Ability and willingness to provide coverage in other areas/facilities

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• High School Diploma and minimum three (3) years of directly related experience or in similar position; OR Associates' Degree and minimum two (2) years of directly related experience or in similar position.

Nice to Have

• Associate's Degree
• Minimum two (2) years of healthcare experience
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record system
• Multilingual
