This role involves providing tax planning, compliance, and strategy advice to clients, specifically focusing on partnership tax. The manager will coordinate tax return preparation, manage audits, and lead a team to deliver high-quality tax services.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns and supporting schedules for the firm and partners
- Supervise, develop, and coach tax teams
- Manage client service accounts and drive assigned client engagement workstreams
- Solve and analyze complex tax problems to develop top-quality deliverables
- Manage ongoing tax audits
- Prioritize multiple tax filing requirements
- Maintain compliance with tax regulations and firm standards
- Utilize technology to enhance tax processes
- Mentor others and deepen team members' expertise through work review
- Address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of tax or PwC experience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4 years of tax or PwC experience
Nice to Have
- Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA
- Federal, state, and local tax return preparation
- Knowledge of tax code and regulations
- Tax compliance experience
- Partnership tax and domestic income tax experience
- Experience with automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Managing ongoing tax audits
