Part-Time Pharmacy Technician, Central Fill (1st Shift)

About This Role

This Part-Time Pharmacy Technician role at the Central Fulfillment Center involves working in a closed-door, fast-paced environment to fill prescriptions using automated and manual systems, ensuring accuracy and efficient workflow.

Responsibilities

• Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety, and security procedures
• Use scanning and counting technologies to identify and select appropriate pharmaceutical products
• Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies including monitoring inventory and calibrating machines
• Create and maintain documentation as requested
• Manually fill prescriptions as needed
• Verify product attributes such as size, strength, and quantity before processing orders
• Ensure labels on prescriptions are correct
• Prepare packages, sort, and manifest prescription orders if needed
• Stock and rotate merchandise and supplies to limit shrinkage if needed
• Assist Inventory Technicians as requested and participate in Inventory Audits
