Part Time Merchandiser

About This Role

As a Part-Time Merchandiser, you will independently manage product displays and inventory for American Greetings across various retail locations. This role is crucial in ensuring celebration products are well-stocked and visually appealing to customers.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned retail stores, merchandising and organizing product orders
• Display product within greeting card departments and other retail locations
• Maintain organized backroom areas and perform other inventory tasks
• Communicate with management regarding service or schedule questions
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment using effective time management and organizational skills
• Partner and build relationships with retail store associates and management
• Be available for additional working days and extended hours around major holidays
• Provide occasional assistance with store resets including minor fixture work, product assembly, relocation, or removal
• Review and plan weekly service schedule and workload using a company-issued tablet
• Work both independently and as part of a team

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple retail locations
• Access to reliable internet
• Technological competency to use company-provided tablet
• Availability during daytime hours, especially Monday mornings, and occasional weekends/holidays

Qualifications

• No experience necessary; training will be provided.
