Part-Time Evaluator, Social Work

About This Role

Evaluate student assessments, providing accurate and helpful feedback to ensure mastery of learning objectives and course competencies. Collaborate with a team to maintain consistent evaluation processes within an online higher education environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate assessments to determine students’ mastery of learning objectives and course competencies
• Prepare accurate, helpful, and consistent feedback to help students develop course competencies
• Apply evaluation processes, policies, and procedures when reviewing and determining students’ mastery of course learning objectives and program competencies
• Stay current with updates to evaluation processes and apply updated and new evaluation processes as they occur
• Collaborate with team members and leadership when evaluating new and complex assessments to ensure consistent evaluation ratings
• Review evaluation feedback from team members and leaders, and apply input as needed to ensure evaluation methods align with department and team expectations
• Partner with team members and leaders to improve evaluation processes that promote consistent scoring and improve evaluation processes

Requirements

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license
• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Minimum 3 years of professional social work practice experience
• Experience in higher education or an online learning environment
• Demonstrated expertise in social work practice, policy and advocacy, clinical assessment and intervention, human behavior and the social environment (HBSE), social work research and evaluation, or diversity, equity, and inclusion in practice

Qualifications

• Master of Social Work (MSW) from a CSWE-accredited program
• Minimum 3 years of professional social work practice experience. Experience in higher education or an online learning environment.

Nice to Have

• Doctoral degree (DSW or PhD) in Social Work or a closely related field
• Research or scholarly experience, including publications or conference presentations
