The Part-Time Custodian cleans and maintains assigned areas and county buildings within Cumberland County. This role ensures the upkeep of premises and operates various cleaning equipment.
Responsibilities
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, or polish floors
- Clean offices including desks, windows, and hallways
- Clean restrooms including toilets, sinks, and floors
- Perform trash removal and move supplies to designated locations
- Operate vacuum cleaners, hand tools, scrubbers, electrostatic sprayers, and buffing machines
- Track stock and prepare monthly lists of cleaning items needed
- Attend training, seminars, or in-services as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 6-12 months working experience in a custodial environment preferred.
