As an Associate Medical Assistant at Providence Medical Group NW, you will be a valuable member of the patient care team, supporting the delivery of cost-effective, clinically competent healthcare.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands-on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants OR Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program OR has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces OR minimum one year of work experience as a medical assistant that includes the following clinical skills: obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and medication administration
- Washington Medical Assistant Certification (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire)
- Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting (0-6 months)
Qualifications
- 0-6 months medical assisting experience in a clinic setting
Nice to Have
- 6 months of prior experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment
- 6 months of previous experience in a healthcare setting working with an Electronic Health record (EHR)
