The Paraprofessional supports students with IEPs across various grade levels and abilities within the classroom setting. This role involves providing both classroom and one-on-one assistance to students.
Responsibilities
- Support students with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in the classroom
- Work with students across a variety of grade levels and abilities
- Provide one-on-one assistance to students as needed
- Maintain professionalism in manner, appearance, promptness, and job performance
- Meet all in-service requirements mandated by the school or diocese
- Comply with all diocesan policies regarding suspected child abuse
- Collaborate effectively with administration, faculty, and staff for harmonious school operations
Requirements
- Comfortable offering support in the classroom or one on one
- Ability to work 25 hours per week
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
