Packager - 1st Shift

About This Role

Join a family-owned food manufacturing company as a Packager, responsible for maintaining food safety and quality standards while working efficiently on a fast-paced production line.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold food safety and product integrity.
• Consistently follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members.
• Execute food safety, quality, and continuous improvement activities to meet SQF 2000, regulatory, and customer standards.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Complete mandatory E.A. Sween quarterly safety training.
• Rotate through all production positions every 30 minutes.
• Follow standard operating procedures for Box Maker, Boxer, and Racker roles.
• Operate and maintain production equipment and tools as needed.
• Complete required paperwork and submit to the Pack-off Lead after each shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous assembly line experience in a high-speed packaging environment
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying products
• Teamwork-oriented mindset
• Reliable attendance record
• Ability to keep work area clean, safe, and organized
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs continuously during a 10-12.5-hour shift
• Willingness to work overtime as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in high-speed packaging or assembly line work.
