About This Role

Lead and develop teams to ensure effective store operations, drive financial performance, and provide exceptional customer service for a retail store, while focusing on inventory flow and merchandise presentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates
• Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations and initiatives
• Guide and implement business solutions and communicate business objectives to teams effectively
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards and manage customer service initiatives
• Resolve customer needs, complaints, and issues, and provide process improvement leadership
• Review and evaluate Profit/Loss statements, manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
• Monitor and ensure effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, and inventory flow
• Develop and implement action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, and mentoring
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and ethics

Requirements

• 2 years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience

Nice to Have

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports
