About This Role

This role will drive company revenue and achieve annual goals by managing both inside and outside sales associates. You will collaborate with the sales team to maximize sales opportunities across the California market, contributing to the organization's growth and success.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inside and outside sales teams with an emphasis on departmental operations, sales objectives, and relationship-building
  • Train and provide direction to the sales team, including participation in hiring and disciplinary processes
  • Provide ongoing team support, feedback, and formal/informal performance reviews
  • Manage sales team members' schedules and daily assignments
  • Lead by example, instilling trust and confidence in the sales team
  • Support the development of sales relationships with key contacts, leads, and decision-makers in target markets
  • Communicate sales details and information to the Senior Sales Manager, including trends and KPIs
  • Keep the sales team informed about competitive activities and industry trends
  • Collaborate with other department heads for proper downstream communication and alignment of objectives
  • Plan, arrange, and execute sales meetings to optimize sales efforts and reinforce strategies
  • Collaborate with peers and department leads to develop strategies aligned with company objectives and sales numbers
  • Attend community events in new and existing markets to promote company presence
  • Establish sales goals for the department with guidance from the Senior Sales Manager
  • Communicate with the marketing team to align departmental and company goals
  • Maintain vehicle/equipment to perform required duties and uphold a clean driving record

Requirements

  • Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license with successful DMV verification
  • Advanced negotiation and account management capabilities driving sustained revenue growth
  • Experience coaching and developing sales professionals
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
  • Effective communication in English (speaking, reading, writing, comprehension)
  • Proficient use of MS Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Functional use of common office equipment, computers, and office software

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent with one to five years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, including advanced negotiation and account management capabilities and experience coaching sales professionals
