Provide trauma-informed mental health assessment and treatment to individuals, families, and couples, developing and adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments. This role involves maintaining accurate clinical documentation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments, diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
- Provide on-going therapy to individuals, families and/or couples, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and conducting on-going assessments of progress
- Utilize strength-based, trauma-informed, resilience-building communication strategies in interactions with clients and families
- Maintain client confidentiality, rights, and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Document all clinical work accurately and maintain client records according to established RVCC and regulatory standards and procedures
- Develop and maintain working knowledge of community services and resources for clients
- Coordinate any necessary referrals, outreach, advocacy, or case consultation as appropriate to meet client needs
- Report abuse or neglect of a child, elder, or disabled person in accordance with Massachusetts law for mandated reporters
- Participate in client care and multidisciplinary team conferences when indicated
- Facilitate family consults and/or Sessions When Clinically Indicated For Minor Clients
Requirements
- Master's degree in human services, Counseling, Clinical Psychology Or Social Work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Crisis intervention skills
- Organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Good customer relation skills
- Knowledge of legal & ethical issues pertaining to their profession
Qualifications
- Master's degree in human services, Counseling, Clinical Psychology Or Social Work
- New grads are welcome to apply; 3 years preferred
