This Outpatient Clinician role provides clinical assessments and services to behavioral health clients, focusing on diagnoses and treatment recommendations. The role involves working within a team, maintaining documentation standards, and adhering to state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical assessments and services to behavioral health clients and new referrals
- Complete comprehensive assessments and use evidence-based practices to determine diagnostic information
- Provide formal clinical recommendations for needed services
- Work in a team environment and coordinate services with other treatment providers
- Maintain professional documentation standards for client records
- Participate in peer review of client chart reviews
- Navigate state database (KEPRO/Acentra) to document client eligibility and goals
- Participate in individual supervision with clinician as defined in licensing rules
- Maintain confidentiality of all clients served in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Maintain productivity markers as indicated (currently 50% billable hours)
- Assist with planning and providing clinical supervision to unlicensed behavioral health staff as instructed
- Assist with evaluating the progression of treatment plans and goal progression quarterly
Requirements
- Proof of vehicle insurance at $50K/$100K
- Master's Degree
- Current Maine license (LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, LCPC-c, LMFT, LMFT-c, or licensed Clinical Psychologist)
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, communication skills
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Advanced skill level with Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Minimum of two years of experience working with children and adults with behavioral health diagnoses
- Demonstrated knowledge of psychotropic medications
- Minimum of two years of experience working with diverse client populations
- Experience working with co-occurring intellectual disabilities
- High level of attention to detail
Qualifications
- Master's Degree required
