Lead and develop a customer operations team in a fast-moving distribution environment, managing the full order-to-cash process and driving continuous improvement to ensure customer satisfaction and business efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead, train, coach, and supervise a strong customer operations team
- Manage team performance, set goals, and provide feedback to build a customer-first environment
- Run the full order-to-cash process including order entry, fulfillment, invoicing, and returns
- Coordinate 3PL logistics, manage credits and claims, and handle international orders
- Update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure audit readiness and partner with Finance, IT, Logistics, and Quality to resolve issues
- Use reporting and system expertise to identify trends, forecast demand, and streamline operations
Requirements
- 3-5+ years supervising customer service or operations teams
- Strong order management experience
- Wholesale/distributor experience
- Positive leadership style
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; degree preferred
- 3-5+ years supervising customer service or operations teams
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of ERP systems
- Knowledge of EDI
- Knowledge of CRM systems
- Experience with reporting tools like Power BI
