Operator, Case Packer

About This Role

Operate and maintain Case Packer machinery in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with safety and food quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean mechanical equipment, machinery, and components, keeping the floor area free of bottles and cardboard
• Conduct periodic inspections to evaluate requests for repair
• Ensure compliance with company requirements, such as codes, label placement, and box forming quality, notifying any deviances to supervisor or maintenance department
• Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Accountable for food safety, food quality, and regulatory requirements for their position
• Notify management about actual or potential safety and mechanical issues
• Adopt and maintain all SQF requirements for their position
• Work with quality personnel to separate flavor changes at end of run, ensuring no mixed cases at end or start of run

Requirements

• Three years of mechanic experience
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
• Excellent time management skills

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of mechanic experience

Nice to Have

• Experience in the food/beverage industry
• Previous experience in Manufacturing or production environment
• Ability to direct, coach and train others
• Consultative, influential, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
