Operations Supervisor, Warehouse

About This Role

Supervise the daily inbound operations of a warehouse, focusing on unloading and inventory management. This role also supports troubleshooting delivery issues and provides coaching to the team to maximize site performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including loadout/check-in, delivery activity, motor carrier needs, and customer service
• Ensure timely reporting of loadout/returns compliance and motor carrier compliance within client standards
• Maintain professional working relationships with management, peers, motor carriers, and client employees
• Supervise and review route monitoring utilizing client-specific software
• Process and monitor returns through the client portal at participating locations
• Move inventory safely using material handling equipment (as needed)
• Serve as a main point of contact for escalations from the client
• Schedule orders and notify customers of next-day delivery time windows

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• Strong people and operations supervisory skills
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Office products
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent customer service skills, including conflict resolution
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to embrace new technology

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
• 2-3 years of Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred
