Operating Director

About This Role

This role is for an autonomous and resilient Operating Director to spearhead the growth of a local branch for the largest privately owned in-home care company. The Director will manage the branch independently while receiving ongoing corporate training and support, focusing on business development, client relations, and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage and lead the branch with ongoing corporate training and support
• Develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider
• Cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.)
• Hire and onboard new team members and ensure all shifts are properly staffed
• Monitor on-call responsibilities for client, caregiver, and partner calls
• Build strong client relationships, conduct intakes, and ensure client satisfaction through in-home assessments
• Oversee the office budget, reflected in profit and loss statements
• Create the workplace of choice for your territory, setting the tone for team morale through incentivizing and motivating

Requirements

• Proven leader with previous experience managing a team
• Success with meeting sales and business development goals
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with direct recruitment, hiring and oversight of staff
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
