Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

About This Role

This role involves accurately selecting and gathering products for customers' online grocery orders, ensuring freshness and quality. You will also process payments, deliver orders to cars, and provide excellent customer service to encourage repeat online business.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality
• Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments
• Deliver and load orders to cars when customers arrive for pick up
• Provide a positive customer service experience
• Scan and bag orders on the go following all bagging standards
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customer's order at time of pick-up
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
• Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally
• Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations and ensure accuracy
• Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision
• Ability to read shelf tags
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction)
• Excellent oral/written communication skills
