Occupational Therapist

About This Role

This Occupational Therapist contract role provides specialized services to K-12 students in a school setting in Cambridge, MA, focusing on enhancing daily school activities and educational engagement. The therapist will also provide in-home sessions in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services tailored to meet the developmental needs of students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to support student goals
• Deliver in-home occupational therapy sessions in Andover twice weekly, with each session lasting 60 minutes
• Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress and modify interventions as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all relevant regulations and standards

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy licensure with relevant experience in a school setting
• Proven ability to deliver effective therapy services in both school and home environments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage a contract position with necessary documentation and compliance requirements
