Occupational Therapist

About This Role

This role is for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students in a school setting in Midland, GA. The position involves delivering occupational therapy evaluations and interventions, collaborating on IEPs, monitoring progress, and adapting therapy approaches to support classroom participation. It offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to pediatric students across grades K-12
• Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Adapt therapy approaches to support classroom participation and functional outcomes
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary strategies for student success

Requirements

• Active Georgia Occupational Therapy license

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in pediatric OT therapy, particularly in school settings, strongly preferred. COTA candidates with prior school-based experience will be given priority consideration.

• Highly qualified Virtual Occupational Therapists (VOCO)
