Occupational Therapist

About This Role

Provide specialized occupational therapy services to K-12 students within a school environment in Phoenix, AZ. This is a short-term contract role covering a leave of absence, focusing on student development and functional independence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to students' individual needs in a school setting.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to support student development and functional independence.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with regulatory and educational standards.
• Adapt therapy techniques to support various developmental levels and disabilities.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Requirements

• Valid Occupational Therapy license applicable in the state of Arizona.
• Experience working with K-12 student populations in school-based or healthcare OT settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work independently.
