Occupational Therapist - PRN

About This Role

This Occupational Therapist role provides skilled occupational therapy services, including evaluation and treatment, to a diverse patient population within a nationally ranked community hospital. The position involves collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Establish treatment plans and provide occupational therapy treatment, considering discharge needs, expected functional status, and appropriate equipment/supplies.
• Educate, collaborate with, and conference with patients, families, and other health care providers, making referrals to specialists as needed.
• Delegate tasks to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication, determining skill level required for interventions.
• Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.
• Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Occupational Therapy Services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Occupational Therapist License

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
• No Experience

Nice to Have

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
