The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes within Humana's caring community. This role focuses on health promotion and maintenance, diagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditions, and prescribing medication to improve consumer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Apply advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Provide health promotion and maintenance through diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe medication and examine patients
- Advise executives on functional strategies for significance
- Exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 or more years of technical experience
- 2 or more years of project leadership experience
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner/PA license in the appropriate state
- Passion for contributing to continuously improving consumer experiences
- Willingness to be screened for Tuberculosis (TB) for patient facing role
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 or more years of technical experience, including 2 or more years of project leadership experience
Nice to Have
- Masters in Science of Nursing /PA
