About This Role

This Registered Nurse position provides disease-specific patient care for patients with acute and chronic health events in the Comprehensive Vascular & Wound Care Clinic. The role focuses on wound care treatments, patient education, and clinical evaluation within a busy ambulatory setting.

Responsibilities

• Utilize evidence-based practices to provide wound care treatments
• Select appropriate dressings and therapeutic techniques to promote healing and reduce complications
• Provide patient education on wound management and prevention strategies
• Perform skilled assessments
• Develop and implement care plans
• Conduct clinical evaluation or interventions

Requirements

• ADN
• No experience required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic computer knowledge
• Working knowledge of MS Windows, Word, Outlook, EPIC
• Working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures

Qualifications

• ADN
• No experience required

Nice to Have

• BSN
• 1-2 years of wound care clinical experience
• WOC certification
