About This Role

The .Net Technical Lead/Architect will be responsible for leading the migration and modernization of .NET applications to AWS, focusing on breaking down monoliths into microservices and designing cloud-native solutions. This role requires strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core, microservices, and various AWS services, alongside providing technical leadership and architectural guidance.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and lead migration of .NET applications to AWS Landing Zones (lift & shift + modernization)
  • Break monolithic .NET apps into scalable microservices using .NET Core/.NET 6+ extensively
  • Design cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, Glue, and RDS PostgreSQL
  • Provide architectural guidance, solution design, and technical leadership to development teams
  • Enable DevOps automation utilizing CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Ensure scalability, security, resiliency, and cost optimization for all AWS workloads
  • Drive engineering best practices, conduct code reviews, and implement quality frameworks

Requirements

  • 12+ years in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8
  • Strong experience with microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems
  • Proven experience modernizing legacy .NET applications to .NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services: Lambda, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, S3, RDS, DynamoDB
  • Strong database skills in SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and Redis
  • DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes/EKS
  • Familiarity with testing tools like xUnit, NUnit, Moq, Testcontainers
  • Strong understanding of architectural patterns (DDD, Clean Architecture)

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6/7/8 development

Nice to Have

  • AWS certification (Solutions Architect / Developer / DevOps)
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise modernization programs
  • Strong communication and stakeholder leadership
  • Exposure to Generative AI concepts (LLMs, embeddings, simple RAG patterns)
  • Basic understanding of prompt engineering and LLM integration
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI concepts (AI agents, workflow automation)
  • Experience with vector databases (OpenSearch, Pinecone, Redis Vector)
  • Awareness of AWS Bedrock services and foundational models (Claude, Llama, Titan)
