Kafka Engineer

About This Role

Design, build, and support real-time streaming data platforms as a Kafka/Flink Engineer. Utilize strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Flink, and a solid understanding of distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support real-time streaming data platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of real-time data streaming solutions experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Kafka Streams, Connect, Schema Registry)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Flink for real-time stream processing
• 4+ years in Java or Scala or Python
• 2+ years of message serialization formats (Avro, Protobuf, JSON)
• 4+ years of Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• 4+ years of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real-time data streaming solutions experience
