About This Role

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Board-Certified Neonatologist to join their Rocky Mountain Neonatology practice in the Denver region. This role involves collaborating with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners and Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians to provide care in L&D, well-newborn, and NICU Levels II and III.

Responsibilities

  • Round daily and provide on-call coverage from home with 24/7 NNP support
  • Collaborate with NNPs and neonatologists in providing care to high-risk patients
  • Provide a full range of services in L&D, well-newborn and NICU Levels II and III
  • Participate in the education of nursing staff, NNP's, medical students and family practice residents
  • Cover locations in the Denver metro area, serving a network of hospitals with approximately 10,000 combined deliveries

Requirements

  • BE/BC Neonatology
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Interest in participating in education of nursing staff, NNP’s, medical students and family practice residents
