About This Role

Join a dedicated pediatric hospitalist group in San Antonio to provide coverage at Methodist Children’s Hospital, managing a mixture of day and night shifts with a focus on patient care.

Responsibilities

Average of 10-15 pediatric patients daily on hospital medicine shifts
Work alongside experienced nurse practitioners for newborn nursery coverage, delivery attendance not required
Perform a mixture of day and night shifts
Provide night coverage in-house from 6PM to midnight, with home call from midnight to 6 AM
Typically work shift blocks of 3-5 days, with flexibility for longer stretches if preferred
Care for patients admitted to the medical/surgical floors and intermediate care unit
