This entrepreneurial Sales Manager role leads commercial activity and drives revenue growth for a global manufacturer of industrial washing and sanitizing systems across the United States and Canada. The position involves developing customer relationships, expanding market presence, and scaling the business in North America.
Responsibilities
- Deliver annual sales targets across the USA & Canada
- Develop and execute a regional growth strategy
- Identify new vertical markets and application opportunities
- Build and maintain long-term capital project pipeline visibility
- Expand customer base within food processing, protein, and industrial sectors
- Develop strategic partnerships and distribution opportunities
- Manage full sales cycle: prospecting → quotation → negotiation → contract → project handover
- Collaborate with engineering teams on technical proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms and pricing
- Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Service, and Aftermarket teams
Requirements
- 5-10+ years of B2B industrial machinery or capital equipment sales experience
- Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience managing long, engineered-to-order sales cycles
- Strong technical and solution-selling capability
- Strategic, entrepreneurial mindset
- Excellent negotiation and closing ability
- Strong organization and project coordination skills
- Self-driven with high accountability
- Comfortable with extensive North American travel
Qualifications
- 5-10+ years of B2B industrial machinery or capital equipment sales
Nice to Have
- Background in industrial washing systems, food processing equipment, protein processing, or similar engineered solutions
