This role will support the Sales Team by leveraging strong analytical skills to create dashboards, run performance reports, and uncover actionable insights from sales data. The specialist will blend data-driven insights with customer-focused execution to drive sales effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of performance against Key Performance Indicators and provide sales performance updates to leadership
- Analyze sales data weekly to identify problematic areas or growth opportunities within retailer accounts
- Engage with customers to resolve issues promptly
- Partner with the .com brand advocate to align digital and retail sales efforts
- Plan and conduct training sessions for customers and clients to support product knowledge and sales effectiveness
- Track and communicate ongoing projects and initiatives involving retailers to account managers, executives, and field teams
- Provide support for the implementation of new programs and initiatives
- Create and deliver compelling presentations using PowerPoint to support sales initiatives
- Represent the organization at trade shows, store manager meetings, and customer-hosted charitable events
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of significant experience in similar roles
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with different organizational levels
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with advanced expertise in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities including data extraction and sales trend analysis
- Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of significant experience in similar roles, with hands-on sales experience and strong analytical capabilities
Nice to Have
- Significant experience as support in a retail or big box environment
- Experience in the building materials industry or similar
