Municipal Engineer Intern

About This Role

Join CME Associates as an Engineer Intern to gain hands-on experience in civil/municipal engineering projects, assisting senior engineers with design, field work, technical analysis, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of engineering plans, drawings, and specifications
• Participate in field surveys, inspections, and data collection activities
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering calculations, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations
• Assist in project coordination efforts by organizing documents, tracking timelines, and communicating with stakeholders
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to enhance technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Recent graduate or current student pursuing an engineering degree

Nice to Have

• Experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or GIS
