Multicrafted Maintenance Technician

About This Role

The Multicrafted Maintenance Technician uses mechanical and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment and facilities. This role ensures operational efficiency and constant production to meet goals in Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, and Delivery.

Responsibilities

• Utilize mechanical and electrical knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills for plant equipment and facilities
• Ensure operational efficiency and constant production to meet operational goals (Safety, Quality, Production, Cost, and Delivery)

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instruction
• Ability to communicate well with plant supervisors and equipment operators
• Ability to work with hands and in mechanically oriented situations
• Good mechanical and troubleshooting aptitude
• Working knowledge of performing basic mechanical functions (preventative maintenance, setup, cleaning, storage, protection of equipment components, lubrication, operation of simple and semi-simple machines, single reduction gear boxes)
• Working knowledge of performing basic electrical functions (disassembly, cleaning, assembly, and troubleshooting operations of any electrical equipment such as panel, switch gears, motors, VFD’s, controllers, PLC’s, instrumentation)
• Basic working knowledge of various types of pumps, conveying systems and other various types of machinery (process and high-speed packaging equipment)
• Ability to work under stressful conditions
• Awareness of GMP’s to ensure hygienic security of bottles and components

Nice to Have

• Functional knowledge of local, state, and federal electrical code standards
