About This Role

Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging procedures in a multidisciplinary team setting, collaborating with radiologists and nurses to ensure high-quality patient care. This role involves operating MRI equipment, performing venipuncture, and assisting with sedation cases.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging
  • Perform venipuncture when indicated
  • Assist the Radiologist and Radiology nurses with sedation cases
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services
  • Communicate clearly and openly

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
  • Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, or ARRT (R) with commitment to obtain ARRT (MR) within 1 year
  • Texas Department of State Health certification
  • 1 year of experience

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist Program
  • 1 year of work experience required

Certifications

Basic Life Support Certification (Required) American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification - ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT (Required) ARRT (R) with requirement to obtain ARRT (MR) license within 1 year of completing orientation (Required)
