About This Role

This role provides hands-on laboratory support for PCR-based molecular workflows, ensuring the generation of reliable, high-quality data for research testing. The position involves sample handling, nucleic acid extraction, reagent preparation, and experimental setup.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on laboratory support for PCR-based molecular workflows
• Support daily laboratory operations through sample handling, nucleic acid extraction, and reagent preparation
• Perform experimental setup for research testing
• Contribute to contamination control efforts and routine instrument upkeep
• Ensure accurate documentation and maintain data integrity

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Life Science (Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field) or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences
• Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Hands on life sciences laboratory experience
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures
• Pipetting experience
• Reagent preparation
• Sample collection and processing
• DNA/RNA extraction
• PCR based molecular biology techniques (qPCR, RT-qPCR, dPCR)
• Sterile technique

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Life Science (Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field) or Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences (Biology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field)
• Hands on life sciences laboratory experience
