Merchandiser

About This Role

Optimize branch sales and profits by ensuring customers' stores are well-stocked with the right products. This role involves delivering merchandise, stocking shelves, arranging displays, and monitoring inventory to enhance product appeal and availability.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise store shelves to Wismettac and customer standards
• Check shelves and backrooms for overstock, proper product rotations, and dates
• Maintain regular contact with existing customers to resolve problems, concerns, and complaints
• Deliver and pick up products and equipment when necessary
• Keep informed of new products and general information
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage finished product for loading
• Check purchase orders/work orders to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery
• Check items to ensure the correct number of products are being assembled
• Unload products from trucks and containers, and stock them in designated areas
• Perform quality control to ensure no damaged products are sent out or stored
• Operate within standard operating procedures and utilize forklift and/or palette jacks
• Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations
• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse

Requirements

• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks under various time constraints
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English
• Ability to correctly follow rules to arrange things or actions in a certain order
• Ability to communicate and interact professionally and flexibly
• Ability to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds
• Positive work history and ability to maintain solid attendance
• Availability to work extended hours
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
