Mental Health Worker

About This Role

Provide intensive, home, school, and community-based therapy to children and adolescents with social, emotional, and behavioral disorders, advocating for their educational and justice system needs. This role involves clinical interventions, case management, and crisis intervention to help client families build support systems and achieve independent success.

Responsibilities

• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments utilizing program principles to understand client and family dynamics.
• Provide therapy services (individual, group, family, couples) to promote exploration and understanding of personal and interpersonal dynamics.
• Develop effective and timely treatment goals with measurable objectives.
• Monitor service provision through intensive case management to ensure quality and appropriate services/interventions.
• Provide information/referral services to clients and families for appropriate services and resources.
• Record all case progress notes to maintain accurate treatment history and client progress.
• Meet program expectations regarding productivity.
• Handle administrative duties including chart documentation, billing, and other paperwork consistent with licensure and agency requirements.
• Complete all training and actively participate in required supervision and staff meetings.
