The Mental Health Clinician provides essential skills training, case management, and supportive mental health services to children, adolescents, and their families within a six-county service area. This role ensures services align with treatment plans and agency standards, maintaining timely and accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
- Provide mental health skills training and support services to children, adolescents, and families
- Deliver case management and therapeutic support aligned with approved treatment plans
- Conduct emergency mental health assessments as warranted
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
- Collaborate with families, providers, and internal team members
- Adhere to Agency policies and Medicaid standards
- Travel routinely throughout the six-county service area
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services discipline (QMHP eligible)
- Reliable personal vehicle
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a Human Services discipline that meets QMHP requirements
- Six (6) months of direct care experience working with children or adolescents in a behavioral health or educational setting preferred
Nice to Have
- Six months of direct care experience with children or adolescents in behavioral health or educational setting
- Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development
- Familiarity with DSM-IV diagnostic criteria
- Licensed Bachelor Social Worker (LBSW)
