Mental Health Clinical Supervisor

About This Role

This role involves overseeing and guiding mental health professionals who provide direct care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring the provision of quality mental health services. The supervisor will address psychological needs and work with all disciplines on the Behavioral Health Unit.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for administrative staff for discussion of treatment programs and problem resolution
• Coordinate development and revision of policies and procedures for identifying, assessing, and providing clinical services for inmates
• Supervise the planning, development, and implementation of treatment programs contracted to VitalCore
• Provide clinical supervision to staff of Behavioral Health Services
• Monitor efforts of Mental Health Services to ensure clinical services are provided in a timely, professional manner
• Ensure treatment programs contracted are integrated and appropriately staffed
• Provide administrative support to psychiatric staff and assist in recruitment and selection of clinical staff
• Coordinate facility behavioral health Quality Improvement Program

Requirements

• Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician
• Ability to assess and make treatment decisions and provide Mental Health treatment
• 2 years experience supervising a mental health team
• Previous experience as a Mental Health Clinician
• Must have one of the following licenses: LPCMH, LCSW

Qualifications

• Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician
• 2 years experience supervising a mental health team and previous experience as a Mental Health Clinician
