Medical Scribe

About This Role

This role involves working directly with physicians, documenting patient visits in real-time using electronic health record systems, and maintaining accurate medical records to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Work with doctors during patient visits to document patient history, exams, and treatments
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation
• Review and track lab and test results
• Adhere to HIPAA and other regulations for secure record keeping
• Keep patient charts up to date and accurate
• Send and organize documents for doctor review
• Support the healthcare team with lab tracking and follow-ups
• Assist in maintaining smooth clinic operations

Requirements

• At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S. (16 in TX)
• Typing speed of 40+ WPM
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Strong listening and communication skills
• Flexible schedule availability
• Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
• Access to a laptop for training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• No experience required, training provided
