Medical Laboratory Scientist/Certified (Core Lab)

About This Role

Perform clinical laboratory testing in a fast-paced academic medical center, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting of results.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing
• Maintain quality of service based on accuracy and timely result reporting
• Test blood gas, chemistry, coagulation, hematology, and urinalysis
• Work within the Core Lab across multiple testing sites

Requirements

• BS Degree
• American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification within 6 months of hire
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to occasionally stand or walk with objects up to 10 pounds
• Ability to push/pull objects over 50 pounds
• Ability to sit at computer workstations for extended periods
• Ability for repetitive motion

Qualifications

• BS
• No experience required.
