About This Role

Manage and estimate costs for medium to large-scale construction projects, focusing on mechanical trades, while providing consulting and owner's representative experience for federal contracts.

Responsibilities

• Manage and estimate costs for medium to large-scale construction projects
• Develop detailed cost estimates for mechanical construction projects
• Provide consulting or owner's representative experience to oversee project costs
• Prepare comprehensive business documents including reports, detailed letters, and emails
• Collaborate effectively in a team setting with minimal supervision
• Utilize proprietary government estimating software such as MII, SUCCESS, CostWorks, and PACES
• Maintain attention to detail and uphold a high standard of work quality

Requirements

• 10+ years of cost management and estimating experience on medium to large-scale construction projects
• Deep understanding of the Mechanical trade
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to plan effectively, manage time, and solve problems independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in a construction-related discipline or equivalent field experience
• Over 10 years of cost management and estimating experience on medium to large-scale construction projects

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of the Electrical trade
• Experience with estimating software including BlueBeam, OST, and Second Generation MCASES (MII), PACES, and CostWorks
• Consulting experience is a significant advantage
• Ability to work independently and obtain necessary security clearance
