Math Classroom Teacher

About This Role

This role involves helping students learn subject matter and acquire skills to contribute to their development as mature, able, and responsible adults within the Clovis Unified School District system. The teacher will be responsible for reaching District standards in designated curricular areas and maintaining proper disciplinary control.

Responsibilities

• Help students learn subject matter and skills to contribute to their development as mature, able and responsible adults
• Reach District standards in designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board
• Perform co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and/or designated persons
• Maintain proper disciplinary control of pupils directly assigned and secondarily all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District
• Enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils as prescribed by the Education Code, Title 5, The Governing Board, and District/school administrators
• Provide a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students adhering to guidance established by the Governing Board, Superintendent, and designated administrator

Requirements

• Appropriate California public school teaching credential
• Current CUSD teachers wishing to apply for a transfer are highly recommended to complete the application and attach supporting documents
