Material Handler

About This Role

The Material Handler I performs essential warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting, operating under the guidance of the Logistics Supervisor. This role is responsible for accurate product handling within performance guidelines and maintaining necessary warehouse documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Execute duties within the performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load/unload trucks
• Manage day-to-day warehouse paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core production hours

Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to work using health and safety methods
• Must be available to work on a flexible schedule on various work shifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
