Material Expeditor

About This Role

This Material Expeditor role supports the Program Management Services Division by sourcing, tracking, and managing materials and equipment for project sites. The role ensures timely delivery and proper quality control of all necessary materials.

Responsibilities

• Support Project, Construction, and Commission Managers with sourcing materials, issuing purchase orders, tracking, expediting, and managing materials and equipment manufacturing process
• Ensure timely delivery to storage areas and project sites
• Verify bill of materials and identify suppliers
• Conduct commodity lead time analysis and manage order acknowledgements
• Expedite delivery and manage materials
• Communicate material schedules to the project team
• Oversee quality control and manage vendor damage claims

Requirements

• Technical Degree
• Five years of experience in Materials Management positions
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Excel and Word
• Well versed in power delivery components and manufacturing process

Qualifications

• Technical Degree
• Five years of experience in Materials Management positions

• SAP experience
