Join a team of Applied Scientists to tackle challenging business problems in marketing analytics and ad tech. Apply rigorous scientific methods and data analytics expertise to make a direct impact on global business performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement experimentation and causal inference methodology for Paid channel incrementality and optimization testing
- Build production-grade models on large-scale datasets to optimize marketing performance using advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, and optimization techniques
- Utilize models to address key growth challenges and provide insights on channel optimization, user value modeling, bidding optimization, and targeting optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and deploy models and improve analytical solutions with data-driven recommendations
- Process large scale data using technologies like Spark, Hive, and Uber's proprietary machine learning platform
- Collaborate with marketing leadership, product, and engineering teams, and participate in project planning and prioritization meetings
Requirements
- Master's degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Math, or another quantitative field
- Relevant experience in machine learning, optimization and advanced analytics
- Expertise with Python
- Advanced SQL skills - comfortable working with very large data sets

- Experience with big data using technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Spark
- Previous experience in advertising tech (e.g. market response modeling, forecasting, attribution, targeting, 3rd party data integration, etc.)
- Great communication skills, organized, able to multitask, and be a great teammate
- Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution
- Hunger and drive to learn complex topics
