This role involves supporting manufacturing goals by improving processes and troubleshooting, training operators, and coordinating engineering projects. The Manufacturing Technician III will ensure compliance with quality standards and work with external vendors to resolve plant issues.
Responsibilities
- Support goals for yield and productivity sustainment through process improvement and troubleshooting
- Train operators on manufacturing process and equipment operation/set-up
- Coordinate and execute moderately complex engineering studies and projects as assigned with minimal guidance
- Ensure compliance to QA manual and documentation systems
- Work with outside vendors to solve problems for the plant
- Edit and create procedures and standard work
- Assist in training of manufacturing technicians
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED and 4+ years related experience OR 2 year degree and 2+ years related experience
- Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools
- Experience in 5S methodology
- Regulated industry experience
- Ability to independently navigate and operate PCs and other industrial computer equipment
- Ability to redline and compose new MS Word documents using company standard templates
- Ability to create basic Powerpoint slides
- Ability to read, write and speak proficiently in English
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee due to ITAR/EAR regulations
Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED and 4+ years related experience OR 2 year degree and 2+ years related experience
- 4+ years related experience with HS Diploma/GED or 2+ years related experience with a 2-year degree
