Manufacturing Supervisor (Compounding)

About This Role

The Manufacturing Supervisor (Compounding) will lead and guide manufacturing employees to ensure compliance with quality standards and production goals, focusing on continuous improvement and efficient resource management.

Responsibilities

• Promote and model the company vision and mission.
• Ensure adequate capacity in resources such as material, equipment, and personnel to meet production planning demands.
• Monitor waste, equipment downtime, and personnel attendance.
• Implement process recommendations and equipment modifications to improve process performance and/or safety requirements.
• Train and provide direct guidance to manufacturing employees to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
• Utilize Lean and 5S tools to engage associates in continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in production meetings and report on progress to goals.
• Maintain accurate and up to date records of attendance, performance, training, corrective/disciplinary action, and salary administration.
• Maximize productivity, equipment utilization and overall efficiency.
• Schedule adequate personnel to support the objectives of the production plan and coordinate vacation schedules.
• Provide staff with constructive and timely feedback and enforce company policies.
• Develop cross-training plans for productivity objectives and personnel development.
