This internship provides a unique opportunity to solve problems in a manufacturing environment, focusing on manufacturing engineering, product flow, process improvement, safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Interns will run projects under the guidance of experienced professionals to build practical experience in commercial furniture manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Organize and order spare parts for manufacturing equipment
- Design and implement safety guarding on existing equipment
- Assist the engineering team with new equipment installation
- Update routing information
- Gather time study data
- Assist the maintenance team with parts obsolescence and organization
- Assist engineering with new product builds
- Assist manufacturing with production interruptions related to safety, quality, and productivity
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Work safely and follow all company rules and procedures
Qualifications
- Entry-level internship opportunity to gain experience in manufacturing engineering.

- AutoCAD skills
